Menu: Winter melon chicken soup, glass noodles with rice

Meals served: 150

We didn't any volunteers yesterday which meant Sunee and Aland were alone cooking and packing. The food is delicious as usual, but it is always a challenge to serve more meals with less hands on board. Do email us if you wish to volunteer your time to help pack food.

Also, check out our latest performance stats. HOLLAR! we are meeting all our goals and creating the desired community impact. CHECK IT. We take pride in providing full transparency on our food relief operations and make sure we spend every single donated dollar/ THB. We are not fully funded yet, so please continue to donate.

Big Up for the Hot Meals for All team:

- Served more than 4,000 meals since we started this campaign (in late Aug)

- Using majority paper packaging

- Stopped use of carrier plastic bags. Food collectors now bring their own bag

The success of this food relief drive has been the work of many good people. Sunee, Aland and her family at the New Beginnings Calvary chapel, the fundraising team and the volunteers who have committed time to help pack food. Much thanks to the many donors, many of whom are living out of Thailand but wish to help out with the plight of the locals in Phuket. Big hearts!

And not to forget the kind donors who gave food, staples and rice to help defray the costs of running the kitchen. Thank you everyone. We have so much to be proud of!
