Menu: Bamboo shoot chicken, porridge with egg, anchovies

Very spicy bamboo shoot chicken was served today and the rice porridge had a Malaysian twist to it by adding fried anchovies and peanuts. Our cuisine is going international!


Many in our food queues were excited by the meal choices in any case!

Menu: Pineapple chicken and eggs

We had 4 volunteers today helping to pack food. Great stuff! Sunee made pineapple cucumber stir fried with chicken and onions. Boiled eggs were given together with the rice for extra protein. Packing went very quickly!


Long queues for food again, for what is a wet week.

NEW UPDATES:

  • Increased our target meal count to 1,000 meals a week. We will continue to provide our meal stats against the new target meals served. The increased need for food has prompted us to increase our target volumes served.

  • Extending our Hot Food for All program and fundraising. We are fundraising to raise funding to serve Hot Meals in 2022. Please donate to help us continue our work.
