30 AUG 2021 - ECO PACKAGING STARTS

3 big updates today!

1) We started with paper packaging, holding up our promise to be more eco-friendly in our food drive.

2) We stopped plastic carrier bags and had people bring in their own carriers.

3) We are hitting our goals of increasing the number of food packs from 100 to 140+ now.

Small change effected today with great success. Sunee updated the general public that we will stop providing carry bags and people should bring their own. Many already started complying! A small change, a very big win!

Long queues formed up outside the New Beginnings Calvary Chapel for food collection. Social distancing observed and everyone wore their masks. Another good day! Thank you Aland and especially chef Sunee for her delicious food.

25 AUG 2021 - FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN KICKOFF

We officially kicked off the donation drive to raise money in hope to fund 15,000 hot meals for the economically hit folk in Phuket, Thailand. As part of the fund raise, we also hope to upgrade our food packaging to be more eco-friendly as this is equally a humanitarian AND environmental conscious project.

This site will track our progress and provide meal updates, financial spend and anything of importance to this donation project.

Do note that any funds raised will only be released to us every 2 weeks by SimplyGiving, so for the next 2 weeks, we will continue update on our progress but don't be too shocked to see some old style plastic packaging on our food!
