Menu: Stewed eggs with tofu and chicken

Meals served: 180

A record number of meals served today. What an achievement! We thank our volunteers and their fast hands for packing up the food in record time. To be honest, the people queuing for food is much longer than the number of food packs we can provide. So, please help us make 15,000 hot meals a reality. Donate here.

Packing to the Carpenters playlist....makes for much faster hands! Imagine if we played Metallica?!

We typically provide 2 packs of rice as a meal served for a couple. Reality is, many stand in line with families of 6-10 waiting at home for food. We have no choice but to ask them to queue up several rounds in order to allow others a fair chance at a food pack. We wished we could make more food. But we would need the kind public's help to make this a reality. So, please donate generously.

Should you prefer to provide donations in kind for food staples, or volunteer time or even offer to cook up meals for 50 packs, just send us an email at hotmealsphuket@icloud.com to arrange your donations! We welcome any assistance.

Menu: Fried rice with hot dogs, Rice with boiled egg and fish cake

Meals Served: 167

Bing Bing, to date, we have served 3,500 meals to the needy!!!

This is a great feeling to know that we have made a lot of people happy, healthy and helped them out just a little by giving them a daily food packet. We have so much to be thankful for and the team that makes this happen daily is Sunee, Aland and their family, who have done so much for the local community in Patong. We can all help too. Please donate here. Also, reach out to us if you wish to volunteer your time to help pack food. More hands means we can pack more meals!

The food lines are NOT getting shorter, they are only getting longer each day. So we need money to fund the meals, we need hands to prep and pack food. So please donate, money or time or both. But do something! Action causes positive reaction :)

Daily scene outside the chapel. So many wait patiently for a food pack.

So please help us make 15,000 meals a reality. We need to complete our funding to do this work.

Menu: Chicken porridge

Meals served: 130

It has been the height of rainy season, so Sunee has made her yummy chicken porridge to give away to the needy today. We are at a juncture where we need to raise up the remaining funds to achieve our goal towards 15,000 hot meals. It is a lofty ambition and so many have been thankful to us providing their daily hot meal in such hard economic times.

We need to take pause and also give ourselves a pat on the back.

- We have achieved our goals of providing in excess of 750 meals a week

- We have recruited volunteers to help out with food packing

- Stopped providing plastic bags to people that come to collect the food

- Moved majority of our meals to eco-friendly packaging

None of this would happen without Sunee, Aland and their family generously committing their time, their money and their passion to doing this. Let us help them. Please donate here, it costs $1 to make a meal.
